The ROSS Service Coordinator Program helps public housing and Indian housing residents toward economic, physical, and mental stability by providing funding to hire a Service Coordinator who assesses the needs of residents and links them to local training and supportive services.
The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) helps low-income people with HIV access medical care, medications, and other essential support services to help them stay in care. The program consists of 5 parts: A-F.

The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention’s Formula Grants Program funds programs working to reduce juvenile delinquency and improve the juvenile justice system. This grant funds efforts to plan, establish, operate, coordinate, and evaluate policies and projects, directly or through grants and contracts with public and private agencies for the development of more effective education, training, research, prevention, diversion, treatment, and rehabilitation programs in the area of juvenile delinquency as well as juvenile justice system improvement efforts.
The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program – Local Solicitation (JAG) can be used to fund innovative, non-carceral responses for safety as well as services for those currently incarcerated. Grant money has been used for funds prevention and education programs, corrections and community corrections programs, and drug treatment programs.
Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC): A Grant Initiative for the Appalachian and Delta Regions is a grant focused on economic development strategies in rural communities that are recovering slowly from being hard hit by economic transition.
The Rural Residency Planning and Development grant focuses on increasing healthcare services in rural areas. This grant aims to increase the number of rural family medicine, internal medicine, and other high need specialty residency training programs and Rural Track Programs (RTPs) in order to support expansion of the rural physician workforce in areas of demonstrated need.
The Rural Health Network Development Planning Grant Program funds projects improving rural healthcare networks. This grant aims to promote the planning and development of integrated rural health care networks to: (i) achieve efficiencies (ii) expand access to, coordinate, and improve the quality of basic health care services and associated health outcomes; and (iii) strengthen the rural health care system as a whole.
